I am an agronomist, economist, and sustainable agriculture expert with over 20 years of experience leading programs focused on regenerative practices, climate resilience, biodiversity, and sustainable livelihoods across Latin America, Africa, and Europe.

My expertise spans implementing economically viable solutions to deliver sustainable development in agricultural and rural settings. Throughout my career, I have built a strong track record of engaging and aligning diverse stakeholders, including corporate partners, governments, NGOs and local communities, to drive sustainability transformations in global commodity supply chains. I have led multi-stakeholder initiatives with major companies such as Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Cargill, ADM, and 3M to implement regenerative agriculture practices at scale.​

My diverse experience allows me to bridge the gap between theory and practice, translating sustainability goals into concrete actions with measurable impact. I hold a PhD in Economic Development from Unicamp in Brazil, where my thesis explored an innovative economic framework to deliver sustainable development. I am also a published author on this topic.

 

As an independent consultant, I now provide strategic advisory services, capacity building, and program design and evaluation support to clients seeking to advance sustainable agriculture and rural development goals. Fluent in four languages - English, French, Portuguese and Spanish - I bring a global perspective and ability to facilitate effective collaboration in international contexts.
